About this product

*Material:copper and aluminum product, polished caliber

*OEM number:06A133062AP 06A133062BB 06A133062BG 06A133062BK,Fit:Volkswagen Jetta 2V

*Replacement electronic throttle body assembly:regulates the proper volume of airflow into the engine which is essential to the mixture of fuel and air in the engine. If you are experiencing engine stalling, failing to start, electronic throttle warning light came on, hesitation or power surging on acceleration on your Jetta then you may have a problem with your vehicles throttle body.

*Stable idle speed: The idling speed may be the carbon deposit in the idle control valve, so it needs to be cleaned or replaced in time.

*Note: When cleaning the throttle body, special care should be taken only to use specially designed spray cleaners that do not damage electrical components or sensors.

Description

When to consider replacing the throttle body:
1.Check engine light and/or reduced power warning light is on.
Most modern throttle bodies have electrical components,
such as a throttle position sensor. These components are monitored by the powertrain control module (PCM).
2.Wrong idle speed.
Carbon deposits in the throttle body, particularly around the movable throttle plate or in the idle air control valve,
can cause the engine idle speed to be too low or too high.
3.Poor transmission shifting.
In some applications, transmission shift timing relies on signal outputs from the throttle body
If the throttle position sensor is defective, that might adversely affect shift timing and feel.

Instruction:
1: Remove the air cleaner and duct hose with a screwdriver. Disconnect the electrical connector on the MAF by pulling out the plug. Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor in the air duct.
2: Disconnect the idle air control on the side of the throttle body by pulling the electrical connector. Disconnect the throttle position sensor opposite the throttle cable levers.
3: Disconnect the throttle cables by turning the throttle lever on the throttle body all the way open by hand and removing the now slackened cables from the throttle lever.
4: Remove the heated water hoses from the bottom of the throttle body if there are any. Use a needle nose pliers to remove the clamps by squeezing the clamps and pulling them off.
5: Remove the bolts running through the throttle body and into the intake manifold. Use ¼-inch drive socket and ratchet, lift the throttle body off the intake manifold. Protect the metal gasket that is in between the throttle body and intake. This gasket must be reused.
Install the new throttle body in reverse order
