2. Is your phone scanning for Bluetooth (some phones need to be manually click 'refresh scan')? If you still can't find the BTR5 device, try to return to the setting and re-enter the Bluetooth on your phone.
3. Confirm that the mobile phone is not connected to other Bluetooth devices. If there is a connection, please disconnect it first.
4. Due to the difference in phones of various brands, you can try several times when appearing faults.
5. When using NFC, make sure your BTR5 is turned on and no other mobile phones are connected.
3.How to clear the pairing record on BTR5?
Hold the Volume"+" and Volume"-" buttons for about 5 seconds when the BTR5 is powered on.
4.Why the NFC is not sensitive sometimes?
NFC belongs to the near field communication technology. Both NFC sensing areas of the mobile phone and BTR5 must be close to each other to be sensed. The NFC power of each mobile phone is also different (especially the NFC sensing sensitivity of the metal case mobile phone is low). With the case on, some phones' NFC would become less sensitive. It is recommended to remove the phone case and try again.
5.Does the BTR5 support idle time power off?
Yes, it supports idle time power off for saving power. When it's connected to other devices, it will enter standby mode if no music playing. When it's not connected, it will power off automatically after 2 minutes. Its battery life is about 300 hours in idle time.
6.Is there a delay for BTR5? If there is, how long?
Actually, any Bluetooth device will have a delay under the current technology. And there is no obvious influence on listening to music. The time of delay is different with the different Bluetooth codecs. The BTR5 can support aptX LL( low-latency encoding), with a delay of less than 40ms. For other Bluetooth codecs, the delay is more than 100ms. 2. Whether it will be upgrated depends on whether the existing encoding format is updated.
7.How to set up the BTR5 in FiiO Music app?
Here is steps to set up BTR5 in FiiO Music app: 1. FiiO Music app should be also updated to the latest version firstly; 2. The BTR5 supports the CTIA standard for line control as well as line microphone. But the headsets with OMTP protocol only support normal listening.
9.EQ is invalid under BTR5's LDAC. Is it a hardware defect or a software problem?
Not a hardware defect. Since the audio processing process of LDAC is more special than other Bluetooth formats, we are still doing related debugging, and strive to achieve the same effect as other Bluetooth formats, but it will take a certain amount of time.
