Hakko’s FX-888D-29BY is the updated, digital version of the popular FX-888 analog system and includes several new features like digital calibrations to simplify the setup and operation, new password protection, 5 preset temperature storage, and compact design takes up less workbench space. This soldering station is the same station as the ever popular FX888D-23BY. The only difference between these stations is the packaging for the product. The FX888D-29BY comes with a retail packaging including a cardboard sleeve around the corrugated cardboard box containing the unit. The FX888D-23BY comes in a corrugated cardboard box without the retail packaging sleeve. This soldering station is the 120VAC/70W North American version of the FX888D, with a US Style Plug (2-Prong w/ Ground)
